Building something different.

 

The local saw mill industry is dominated by green and brown colour palettes, images of leaves and trees, and stuffy serifs. This gave Capital Timber Co. an opportunity to do something different. A solid san-serif wordmark, a vibrant yellow (drawing inspiration from the construction and power tool industry), deferential photos of raw materials, and a hint of 70s design aesthetic set this brand apart — while still using a visual vocabulary that resonates with its intended audience.
